Travel

Coordinate flights, ground and lodging for the unit, then send each person just their own itinerary.

What it does

Travel keeps the unit’s movements in one place instead of scattered across an inbox. Build a trip for the production, add travellers, attach their flights, transfers and hotels, and send each person a private itinerary with only their details on it.

The travel screen for a trip: a productions panel, then a table of three travellers with their date ranges, routes such as JFK to LAX, leg counts and itinerary link status.
One trip, everyone on it. Each traveller's flights, ground and lodging roll up into a single itinerary you can send as a private link.

The status column is the useful part — at a glance, who still hasn't been sent their itinerary.

Getting started

  1. Create the trip. Name the trip and set its window — usually prep through wrap for a given unit or location.
  2. Add travellers. Pull people from your Library so names, roles and contacts come with them.
  3. Attach the legs. Add flights, ground transfers and lodging per person, with confirmation numbers and times.
  4. Spot the gaps. Cinethread flags travellers missing a leg — someone landing with no ride, or a night with no room.
  5. Send itineraries. Each traveller gets a private link showing only their own flights, transfers, hotel and key contacts.

Worth knowing

Per-person itineraries

One link per traveller — no one scrolls a master spreadsheet to find their pickup.

Gap detection

Missing ground or lodging surfaces before someone is stranded at an airport.

Import bookings

Paste or upload a booking document and let the assistant pull the legs out of it.

Update in place

Change a flight and re-publish — everyone’s existing link shows the new detail.

Tip. Send itineraries a few days out, then push updates rather than re-sending — travellers keep one link that always shows the latest plan.

Common questions

Does each traveller see everyone else's details?

No. Each person's link opens their own itinerary — their flights, their car, their room. You see the whole trip; they see their day.

Can I import a booking confirmation?

Yes — drop in the agent's document and Cinethread pulls out flights, times, confirmation numbers and hotels for you to check before saving.

What if a flight changes?

Edit the leg and the traveller's live link updates. No re-sending, no chasing.
