Crew lists
A crew list in, one person per row.
Import a crew or talent list from a document. You see the draft before anything is added.
- Every row stays its own person. Two rows that may be one person are asked about once; when their jobs or emails differ, they are two people unless you say otherwise.
- A single strong match in your directory is linked by default, with Not this person beside it.
- An email or phone match across Crew and Talent is asked about, never linked by itself.
- The add checks again. If the directory changed since the draft was made, it stops and shows you.
Bookings and scripts
Other documents, the same rule: review first.
The same idea runs through every import in Cinethread.
- A booking confirmation becomes a review of each traveler's legs: what it would add, change or remove.
- A script from Final Draft, Fountain or PDF becomes a new script, after a review of what was found, kept and set aside.
- Imports need a connection. With no signal, Cinethread says so at once and sends nothing.

Is anything added without me?
No. Every import ends in a review, and nothing is added or changed until you confirm.
What if the document lists someone twice?
Two rows that may be one person are asked about once. You decide.
What if someone on the list is already in my crew?
A single strong match is linked by default, with Not this person if it isn't them.
