We take privacy seriously. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except as described in this Policy. This Policy applies to information we process as a business (a “controller”) about our account holders and website visitors. Where we process production data on behalf of a customer, we act as a service provider (a “processor”), and that customer’s own privacy practices govern how that data may be used.

4 · AI-Assisted Features

When you use AI-assisted features, the content you submit is processed to generate output for you. We may use trusted third-party AI providers to deliver these features. Content sent to those providers is used to return results to you and to operate the feature.

We do not sell your content, and we do not permit our AI providers to use your content to train their general-purpose models except where you have been informed and, where required, have consented. We may use aggregated or de-identified usage information that does not identify you or any individual to monitor performance and improve the Service.

5 · How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

6 · Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete content or close your account, we delete or de-identify the associated information within a reasonable period, except for limited copies retained in routine backups or as required by law.

7 · Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service (for example, to keep you signed in and remember your appearance preference) and, where applicable, to understand and improve how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Service functions.

8 · Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

9 · Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your account information directly in the Service, or contact us at privacy@cinethread.com to make a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting us at the email above.

If we process production data on behalf of a customer, individuals whose information appears in a call sheet should direct requests to the customer that controls that production; we will assist that customer as required.

10 · Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own purposes. Note that call sheets you create may include information about minors involved in a production; you are responsible for handling that information lawfully and for obtaining any required consents.

We operate in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored there. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Policy with a new effective date or notifying you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
