Agreements

Every agreement with a person — crew deal memos, talent contracts and releases — drafted, sent, signed and filed in one place.

What it does

Agreements is the one place paperwork happens — crew deal memos (drafted from a production’s cost plan), talent agreements, location and appearance releases. One row per person shows everything you’ve ever agreed with them, with agreed and owed beside it. Send for signature and the signed copy files itself.

The agreement itself — terms drawn from the cost plan, signed in the browser by both parties, and the signed PDF filed automatically. One row in the list holds every agreement you’ve made with a person; this is what opening one looks like.

Getting started

  1. Pick a template. Start from a deal memo or release. Your standard terms are already in it.
  2. Choose the person. Select someone from your Library and their details fill in — no re-typing names or rates.
  3. Fill the specifics. Add dates, rate, role and any production-specific terms.
  4. Send for signature. The signer gets a link, signs in their browser, and you’re notified when it’s done.
  5. File and find. Signed copies stay attached to the production and the person, so they’re findable at wrap.

Worth knowing

Sign in the browser

No printing, scanning or third-party account for the person signing.

Batch releases

Send the same release to a group — background, extras, appearance — in one pass.

Status at a glance

Draft, sent, signed and completed, so you know what’s still outstanding.

Export the PDF

Download the signed document whenever you need it for delivery or an audit.

Tip. For minors, capture the guardian’s details on the contract as well — it keeps the signed record complete for delivery.

Common questions

Do signers need an account?

No. They get a private link, read the agreement, sign in the browser, and the signed copy files itself back against their name.

How are minors handled?

Flag the performer as a minor and the agreement switches to guardian signature, with the guardian's details carried over from your Library.

Someone works as crew on one job and talent on another — two entries?

One entry. Link the contract to their Library record whichever type it is, and every agreement lands on the same row of their history.
