Text Messaging Consent

How cast and crew agree to receive production logistics text messages from Cinethread, and how to opt out at any time.

Cinethread is a production-management tool operated by Strillogy Productions to coordinate film and video shoots. When a production sends a cast or crew member their personal travel itinerary or daily call sheet, Cinethread can deliver that private link by SMS text message. This page documents that messaging program — including how recipients consent — for A2P / carrier review.

Who receives messages, and how they consent

Messages are sent only to cast and crew working on a specific production. Consent is obtained on a per-person basis: an individual provides their mobile phone number to the production so the production can send them their logistics. Before a text is sent, the production coordinator confirms — via the checkbox shown below inside Cinethread — that the recipient has agreed to receive production texts at that number. Cinethread does not buy, rent, or message purchased phone lists, and does not send marketing or promotional messages.

Privacy

Phone numbers are used solely to deliver production logistics to the person they belong to. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never shared.
