What it does

A deal is one person’s agreement for one production, and it is built in Agreements — drafted from the production’s cost plan so the terms are never retyped. A series runs the same way at scale: every episode’s plan starts from the standing roster, and each engagement gets its own memo.

Every deal is one person, one agreement, one private link. It carries the rate and what it totals, what production covers, expenses with receipts, a message thread, the wrap submission, and the payment record.

Getting started

  1. Plan the production’s Costs. An episode, a shoot week, a campaign — the roster at the rates you expect.
  2. Draft the deals in Agreements. Fee lines, prep if it's billable, per diem, kit.
  3. Send each memo. Everyone gets their own link. They approve, or come back with a question in the thread.
  4. Handle expenses as they land. Small receipted items auto-clear; the rest queue for you.
  5. Reconcile at wrap, then record payment. Same two choices as Pay — approve as submitted, or settle at agreed.

Sharing with a producer

You can give a producer view access from the share picker — it pulls from your existing members rather than asking you to type addresses. They see the schedule and the shape of the work; they don't see rates, and they can't change anything.

A crew member's page contains their own terms and nothing else — no roster, no other rates, no production total.

Receipts stay private

Photos upload straight to storage you alone can read, through a short-lived link.

Questions reach you

A review request or a message emails you. An approval or an expense doesn't — those are visible when you look.

Connect it to a production

Link a block to a production and the dates, locations and crew calls line up with the call sheets.

Common questions

Deals or Pay?

Pay if the work is a production with shoot days — it's right there in the tab bar. Deals if it's episodic or recurring and doesn't hang off one call-sheet schedule. The crew member's page is identical either way.

Do they need an account?

Never. Everything a crew member does happens on their private link.
